BAGEL STREET CUBE ASIA NEW YORK (AP) A new Nordic cafe, whose owners say it’s a tribute to a classic Italian pastry shop, will reopen this fall as a French cafe.
The Bagel Street Cafe asia opened in New York City in 2014 with two separate locations in Chinatown.
Its owners, Dan and Anna Zemmour, say it serves up a fresh selection of food, from the classic French bagel, to vegan burgers and salads, and the cafe’s famous firebowl dessert.
“We wanted to open our second shop in a different place that we feel comfortable in, and to bring that back to New York,” Dan Zemmar, the owners, told The Associated Press.
The two restaurants will serve traditional French and Nordic cuisines, as well as traditional Italian fare.
The two locations are in the historic Bayside section of the borough, near Chinatown.
